Our MissionBulthuis Realty Consultants is a full-service real estate appraisal company providing appraisals for lending institutions, non-profits, private companies, tax appeals, IRS and estates, public domain and condemnation, and court testimony. We take pride in our product and our research. Well-researched market data is the highest priority for our appraisers, whether subject, sales, rentals, rates, or trends. We also make it a priority to keep open communication with our clients with regular e-mailed status updates and timely report preparation.
Company ProfileEstablished by James H. Bulthuis in 1986, BRC currently has four staff and two MAI review appraisers with and average of over 15 years experience in the appraisal field. Our primary market is the six-county Chicago area, though we appraise properties throughout the Midwest and special projects wherever required in the United States. All of our appraisers are Certified General Real Estate Appraisers in the state of Illinois. We are also licensed in Indiana, Wisconsin, and Michigan and have appraised properties in Alabama, Kentucky, and North Carolina. BRC has two appraisers approved by the Illinois Department of Transportation to provide appraisals, and two associate and one full member of the Appraisal Institute. We are a thoroughly modern appraisal firm offering fully digital report products in Adobe® Acrobat® and full-color, GBC® bound hard copy. Upon completion, reports and data will also be available via secure, client-exclusive and password-protected connections to our website.
